The short version
BuckleUpLaws doesn’t require accounts, and our car seat law checker runs entirely in your browser — the age, weight, and height you enter are never sent to our servers.
Data we collect
- Contact form: if you message us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, used only to respond to you.
- Analytics (if enabled): we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited, in aggregate. No personal identification.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: functional cookies required for the site to work, and advertising cookies if and when we display ads.
Advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense or similar networks. These ad providers may use cookies to show you relevant ads and measure their performance.
Children’s privacy
This site provides general legal-reference information for adults (parents and caregivers). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our checker transmits no entered data anywhere.
